I like Waldorf doll feet. They're nice, they look simple, which is the point. But, I CAN'T get used to making them. Actually, it's my least favorite part of dollmaking. I can't ever make them look the way I think they should look! Here's some *Before* pics:
I've tried all different ways of sewing them up and I haven't found anything I LOVE, until I had to make Morgan's Halloween costume. The feet on the costume were easy. They looked like feet. So, I decided to use my handy dandy scanner and scan the pattern. I shrunk it down and made a smaller doll sized pattern and started experimenting. I LOVE THESE FEET! They look like feet, ya' know?! So that's how I'm going to make feet from now on. Because I like them. And here's my little buddy in his Cookie Monster costume! (Just because he's SO cute!)
